Visiting with hurdy-gurdy players on-line and at festivals, we discovered to be true what we already suspected. Hurdy-gurdy players are an independent and talented lot. Many have attempted to build their own instrument with varying degrees of success, but all have faced the problem of finding or building some of the more difficult parts. Here at Hurdy-gurdy Crafters, we would like to offer as much help as you need in the form of parts, plans, and kits based on the lessons we have learned here in our shop.
